The virtue of traveling with a six man relay squad paid rich divendends for T&T.Injuries to Darrel Brown and Aaron Armstrong meant that Keston Bledman and Emmanuel Callender both had to enter the fray.
Bledman came in for Brown and formed part of the round one quartet which included Armstrong.
However an injured Armstrong was forced out of the historic final and in came Callender.
The rest is now history as both young T&T based sprinters did their part in bring home the silver medal.
