Callender offers encouragement to covid-positive TT athletes

  • DECISIVE LEG: Trinidad and Tobago’s Richard Thompson, second right, receives the baton from Emmanuel Callendar even as Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, centre right, urges on Asafa Powell who is already into stride, on the final leg of the men’s 4x100-metre relay at the Beijing 2008 Olympics in China on August 22, 2008. Powell crossed the finish line ahead of Thompson but, ten years later, T&T will be given the gold because Jamaica’s first leg runner Nesta Carter was doped.
