The last Sunday in January was the T&T International Marathon (TTIM).
Unlike previous years, the following Monday was painless. That is simply because, in my fifth marathon in a row, the preparation was much better. Naturally, it helped that there was better support both mentally and physically this time around, unlike previous efforts.

The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) extends its thanks and appreciation for the support extended to the Team TTO #10golds24 #marathonwalk group who participated in the 37th edition of the Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon. 42 individuals walked either the entire 26.2 mile distance from start to finish or joined in along the way.

The T&T International Marathon (TTIM) is on Sunday. It's number 37. Founder of the T&T marathon, Raffique Shah is credited as starting the local edition of the endurance event in 1983. Then known as the Mirror Marathon, the 26.2-mile run captured the imagination of the nation back then and for many decades after.
