The Commonwealth Games is set for Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2, 2026!

The King’s Baton Relay, commencing from Buckingham Palace on March 10th, 2025, will make its first stop in Trinidad and Tobago from March 11th–16th. For the first time ever, each Commonwealth nation and territory will receive its own Baton, uniquely decorated to showcase local culture. The Commonwealth Games Federation has partnered with the Clean Oceans Plastics Campaign—aiming to prevent one million pieces of plastic from entering our waters.

The President of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee will walk the course of the Trinidad and Tobago marathon this weekend. This weekend would have been race weekend in the annual event but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the marathon has now become a virtual race to avoid crowding. TTOC President Brian Lewis is maintaining his tradition of walking for The Athletes’ Welfare Fund, but accepts that things will be different this year. He says donations continue to come in for the fund
