The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) will join the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) once an agreement is reached following a meeting in Madrid, Spain on the 7th April 2016. The TTOC represented by its President, Brian Lewis will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Centre for Sport Security Europe (ICSS Europe).

In his Easter message to the nation, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley called on the citizens to put country before self and be prepared to make sacrifices and commit to work together in the spirit of co-operation and conciliation, rising above individualism and partisan interests.
