When it comes to seeking sponsorship and loans from banks, sport organisations and entrepreneurs need to “up their game, “make themselves more attractive” and “improve their brand”.The advice came from banking executives at last week’s Sport Industry Conference, hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC).

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Senator the Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon today urged entrepreneurs to hone in on the multitude of entrepreneurial opportunities available in sport given the potential of the sector to contribute to national economic diversification.

Trinidad and Tobago is missing out on substantial revenue from the global sport industry.

Local athletes are set to gain invaluable international insight into the business of sport as the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) stages an Athlete Branding and Sponsorship Workshop on Friday March 9^th, 2018.

The Member National Olympic Committees of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) will celebrate the first ever CANOC week from 4th to 10th March 2018.

The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) is set to join with National Olympic Committees (NOCs) from across the Caribbean in celebration of the first ever CANOC Week.

Thought leaders in business, finance, sport and entrepreneurship will lead a series of discussions next week on how Trinidad and Tobago can develop a sustainable and profitable entrepreneurial sport industry. The discussions will take place at the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee’s (TTOC) 3^rd Sport Industry TT Conference on March 8^th at the Hyatt Regency.
