Na­tion­al sailor An­drew Lewis was ex­pect­ed to have the es­teemed ho­n­our of car­ry­ing the na­tion­al flag dur­ing Fri­day evening's open­ing cer­e­mo­ny of the Pan Amer­i­can Games in Li­ma, Pe­ru.

T&T's men and women beach vol­ley­ball teams of Daynte Stew­art and Mar­lon Phillip and Rheeza Grant and Ma­li­ka David­son, suf­fered their sec­ond round-robin Pool B de­feats when the 2019 Pan Amer­i­can Games con­tin­ued at the Beach Vol­ley­ball Court in Pe­ru on Thurs­day.

DAY one of the 2019 Pan American Games ended in defeat for TT's beach volleyball teams Wednesday at the Beach Volleyball Stadium in Lima, Peru.

T&T men and women beach vol­ley­ball teams of Daynte Stew­art and Mar­lon Phillip, and Rheeza Grant and Ma­li­ka David­son were de­feat­ed in straight sets in their open­ing Pool B match on the first day of com­pe­ti­tion at the Li­ma 2019 Pan Amer­i­can Games at the Beach Vol­ley­ball Court, in Pe­ru on Wednes­day.

THE TT Olympic Committee (TTOC), on Friday, announced the team for the 2019 TT Pan Am Games. A total of 98 athletes (58 male, 48 female), will represent TT at the Games in Lima, Peru, which will be held from July 24 to August 11.
