OLYMPIC javelin bronze medallist Keshorn Walcott said he is grateful to be in the esteemed company of former Olympians Ato Boldon and Rodney Wilkes as a multiple Olympic individual medallist after quietly returning to Trinidad and Tobago, yesterday morning.

Rio Olympic bronze medallist Keshorn Walcott is today expressing satisfaction with performance at the just concluded global competition.

The javelin athlete, who copped gold for T&T back in London 2012, journeyed to Rio de Janiero in Brazil, four years later as part of the 32-member contingent in eight disciplines, with the aim of activating the T&T Olympic Committee’s 10 Gold medals by 2024 campaign.

Double Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones of Britain has vowed to ensure she does notrepeat the mistakes she made following her London 2012 triumph after she successfully defended her under 57 kilograms title at Rio 2016.

Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medallist Keshorn Walcott has mixed feelings about his season that ended last week.

Walcott arrived at Piarco International Airport yesterday morning after completing a lengthy campaign abroad which included a successful Olympic Games as well as participation in the Diamond League earlier last week.
