The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) is heartened by the news that qualification for the Beijing Olympics and future Olympic games will be a part of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation(TTFF)development plan.

"In the past we have had a somewhat lukewarm response by the TTFF to participation at the Olympic,Pan Am and CAC Games.We never got the impression that it was an important part of their plans. The inclusion of these games is a significant development.We look forward to discussing with the TTFF and the Ministry of Sport matters related to qualification and participation at the Olympic, Pan Am and CAC Games."
