At this most difficult time the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee ( TTOC ) extends sincerest condolences -on the passing of Jason 'Moon' Clark -to Andy and Josephine Clark and the Clark family, The Caribs Rugby Club, The Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Football Union (TTRFU ).

Jason's enormous talent , athleticism , commitment, passion and courage was always evident during his outstanding rugby playing career with Caribs RFC, the Trinidad and Tobago national 15s and 7s rugby team and the West Indies 7s rugby team.

As a scholarship athlete at University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT ) Jason was a role model.

A physically imposing athlete with a champion's heart and devastating physical attributes on the field of play. His sense of fairplay and sportsmanship was a unifying influence off the field of play transcending competitive club and international rugby rivalry.

Loved , respected and popular with club and national teammates and opponents alike Jason made a positive difference both as a match winner and a positive influence in the dressing room and the training grounds.
In November 2012 a catastrophic and life changing injuries sustained in a vehicular accident ended his playing career.

Jason provided a worthy example of dignity ,courage, resilience and an indomitable will in the face of tremendous adversity.

His ready smile, positive disposition and passion for life , his chosen sport, club and country remained undiminshed.

Jason with the unwavering dedication, love and support of his parents and siblings turned up at every opportunity to lend his presence and support when his beloved Caribs played and the National rugby team. His parents, brothers and sisters, friends, club, country and sport mattered.

Jason ' Moon ' Clark gave his all even with the odds stacked against him. He left an indelible mark during his time on mother earth. His memory will remain cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

Rest In Peace brave warrior.
