T&T quartermiler Lalonde Gordon braved severe cold weather to not only compete in the men’s 300 metres dash but win the event at the New Balance Games in New York which was postponed to Sunday.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Tonya Nero will be on the streets of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, tomorrow night (TT time), bidding for an Olympic berth. Nero is among thousands of runners entered in the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, and will set off on her 26.2-mile journey at 10.30 p.m.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Chief Justice lends support to the national bid to win ten or more Olympic gold medals by the 2024 Olympic Games (#10Golds24). This bid is a project of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC), which was officially launched in 2015 to support our nation’s athletes.
