The 2016 Olympic games have just ended and the performance of the national team is under scrutiny especially when compared to the performance of, for example, the Jamaican team. About the Paralympic Games

The Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games featured 20 competitions with a record setting 3,951 athletes from 146 nations and regions participating.
Philip Guishard, a leader in Bermudian sports and the secretary general of the Bermuda Olympic Association, has died at the age of 74.
Judy Simons, president of the association, hailed him as “an amazing man and a great mentor” who was known to sporting communities across the world.
